Spell to Clear Energetic Clutter: “Thread and Flame”

Purpose: To cut emotional cords, drain spiritual residue, or break free from something weighing you down.

Ingredients:

    •    Black thread or string

    •    A white and black candle

    •    A sharp object (scissors, athame, etc.)

Steps:

    1.    Tie a knot in the thread to represent what you’re releasing.

    2.    Light both candles.

    3.    Hold the thread over the flame (carefully) and say:

“This thread of weight, no longer mine,

I sever now through sacred sign.

From shadow’s grip, I rise anew,

the past unbound, my path is true.”

    4.    Cut the thread and bury or burn it.

    5.    Snuff the candles with gratitude.
