 • A key (representing your home’s door)

The Working:
 1. Stand at your front door. Hold the key in your palm and say:
“Key of hearth and key of hand,
Guard this home, by my command.
Laughter echo, sorrow flee,
Bless each soul who dwells with me.”
 2. Light the yellow candle near your kitchen or living space — your home’s heart.
 3. Sprinkle salt and herbs around the flame in a circle, then add a drop of honey to the center.
 4. Imagine golden light spilling into every room, warming the air and lifting the mood.
 5. Keep the key on your altar or hang it near your entryway.
